OmegaTech’s range of 6 channel Power Distribution Units (PDU6) is designed for fixed or mobile applications where three phase to single phase socket outlet power distribution is required. The range is built on a 2U 150mm deep 19″ chassis, featuring adjustable rack ears, allowing the units to be front or rear mounted. As well as offering a traditional power distribution in a low profile package, it also offers a unique solution for stage power applications when reverse mounted and paired with our Stage Box Strips. It is also ideally suited for use with data distribution or powered speaker applications where hybrid cables can be deployed to both signal and power without the need for extra patch bays.
PDU6s are available in a wide range of configurations to suit individual requirements.
MECHANICAL
The Power Distribution Unit is designed to rack mount in a standard 19” equipment rack. Dimensions are 480mm (19”) wide x 150mm deep x 89mm high (2RU). The unit is fitted with adjustable rack ears, allowing the unit to be mounted facing forwards or backwards, recessed or forward of the rack rail. This is ideal for mounting in tight spaces. No external ventilation is required which eliminates fan noise.
The chassis is constructed of 1.0 mm steel. Metal surfaces are zinc treated and finished in a signature, hard wearing, off black textured hammertone which resists scratches or marks. Full colour labeling (including the option of client logo) is achieved through indelibly etched UV-cured ink.
ELECTRICAL
All unit features a 4pole MCB / Isolator; 6x 16A Type A Residual Current Breaker with Over Current protection (RCBO) connected to 6x PowerCON with a low profile LED indicator per circuit; 1x 10A RCBO connected to 1x PowerCON. Power supply is via a 2m, 5core 6mm² RV-K High-Flex tail with either 32A 56 Series or CeeForm connector
