DESCRIPTION

The OmegaTech Change Over Switch is designed for fixed or mobile applications and allows the user to manually and instantaneously switch between Main and UPS power. Allows users to easily utilize external UPS units in fly away racks without needing to rewire their existing racks. LED indicators allow easy status monitoring

ELECTRICAL

All units feature two Residual Current Breaker with Over Current protection (RCBO), one on the incoming mains, the second on the . Units one “OK” status LED for each input, and a large flashing red “Fault” LED should either of the inputs not be connected.

MECHANICAL

The Change Over Switch is designed to rack mount in a standard 19” equipment rack. Dimensions are 483mm (19”) wide x 130mm deep x 89mm high (2RU). The unit is fitted with adjustable rack ears, allowing the unit to be mounted facing forwards or backwards, recessed or forward of the rack rail. This is ideal for mounting in tight spaces behind deep UPS’s. No external ventilation is required which eliminates fan noise.
The chassis is constructed of 1.2 mm steel. Metal surfaces are zinc treated and finished in a signature, hard wearing, off black textured hammertone which resists scratches or marks. Full colour labeling (including the option of client logo) is achieved through indelibly etched UV-cured ink.
